The IIIrd International Festival of snow and ice
sculpture "Snow, Ice and Flame...", was grand
opened at the municipal children's Gorky Park on the
19.02.97.
For the first time Perm was recieved guests from
England, Argentine, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy,
Canada, Mexico, USA, Ukraine, France, Switzeland. Best
Russian teams from Moscow, Archangelsk, Vologda,Izhevsk,
Kransnoyarsk, Perm, Ufa, Yakutsk will take in this
Championship.
The first Internatinal Festival of snow sculpture
was held in Perm in 1995. Best painters and sculptures
from USA took part in that Festival.
In 1996 Teams from Germany, Switzerland, USA and
Mexico were invited to our Festival.
The Festival was orginized by Perm public
charitable Fund of reconstruction and development
supporting of municipal children's Gorky Perk
"April", Moscow cultural centre
"Viugovey", Russian sculptur's Association of
Perm and Perm Region Administration.
We'd like to invite everybody to visit the IV
International Festival of snow and ice sculpture
"Snow, Ice and Flame...", which will be held
from the 17th of February till the 22 of February in 1998
at the municipal children's Gorky Park.
